Design facade profiles form distinctive appearance

Almost any color possible

The design profiles, or also called special or aesthetic profiles, from SAB-profiel give facades a distinctive look. This makes the design of gray 'boxes' actually a thing of the past. SAB also demonstrated this at the last Achitect@Work in Rotterdam.

New facade profiles in the SAB-Design series are the SAB-Block profile 23/430 and 30/415. A symmetrically set profile for a sleek design in Seren Gold, for example. The first projects have already been carried out. Furthermore, the design series has recently been expanded with four types of SAB-Merlon with a dam height of 30 mm and variation in the lines. With these variants, very many unique combinations can be made for special facades. In addition, the special profile SAB-Robusta in four variants is also coming.

Huge choice

Within the profile range of SAB-Design are also the widely used point profiles, such as SAB-Pyramid (available in various heights). Are you looking for a more unique look? Then choose an SAB-Diamond® with a 'double' point profile, an SAB-Pot lid (or also rebate profile) or an SAB-Pagoda®, in which plank profile and point profile come together. The SAB-Twin, in which a plank and a rounding profile are combined in one, also has its own unique style.

Combine

The project examples on the SAB website show that the different profiles are increasingly being combined with each other with special shading effects. Applying two or more different SAB-Design profiles makes the possibilities of creating a unique facade almost endless, especially in combination with the numerous color possibilities of Colorcoat®.

Application

Most design profiles are applied horizontally, but vertical or even diagonal can give a special effect. The recommended maximum length for most profiles is 6 or 7 meters. When used in an exterior wall, a system of sandwich panels SAB-Carrier as load-bearing elements usually forms the underlying structure, but a traditional surface-mounted system with insulation and an SAB-Inner box is also possible.... 

Color choice makes the facade truly unique

Prepainted steel makes virtually any color possible. Sandwich panels and profiled sheets are available in a large number of high-quality coating systems and many colors. SAB-profiel is the house supplier of Colorcoat® of parent company Tata Steel. For the best Confidex® guarantee of up to 40 years, choose Colorcoat Prisma® or Colorcoat HPS200 Ultra®. Most SAB products can be supplied as standard in the more than 40 solid-uni colors, 10 special metallic colors, 4 matt colors and various Elements colors (including Seren Gold, Seren Midas or Seren Copper).
