Forbo Flooring, market leader in sustainable flooring solutions, will present its new sustainable floor during ARCHITECT @ WORK: Marmoleum Walton Circular, produced from post-usage material. Forbo's sustainable solutions can be admired during ARCHITECT @ WORK at stand 258 on September 14 and 15 in Ahoy Rotterdam.
Forbo Flooring has been taking back cut remnants from the installation of flooring through the back to the floor program for years and is now taking the next step in this circular initiative by now taking back completely used floors through its take-back service. The company takes back linoleum floors that have been in service for years and recycles them into a new linoleum floor that will last for years. Reclaimed material is processed in Forbo's own production into "new" linoleum: Marmoleum Walton Circular. With both post-use recycled material in the carpet pad and - for the first time - in the top layer.
Forbo Flooring Systems designs flooring solutions with a better future in mind. Forbo's flooring makes better places out of the spaces where people work, live, communicate, relax, heal, learn and play. The company not only makes spaces better, it makes the world better. Forbo is a trusted partner for fully circular flooring solutions made with renewable resources. Recycling and achieving CO2 neutrality are essential.
Forbo keeps circularity at the heart of everything the company does, creating sustainable flooring for today and tomorrow. Marmoleum is the most sustainable floor: it contains 97% natural raw materials of which 72% are rapidly renewable and a large amount of recycled material. Marmoleum is also produced CO2 neutrally - without compensation - in the Netherlands.
