In utilities, shading is operated (fully) automatically by project controls. Because sun blinds are increasingly becoming part of an existing building management system, project control raises many issues. It is a complex matter, which in many cases has ICT-related challenges. This requires knowledge that is often not present among shading companies, building managers or parties working on a building's envelope.
