Preparations Flanders Flooring Days 2023 at full speed: 4 new showrooms and edition 2024 promises to be even bigger and better

The first edition of Flanders Flooring Days (FFD) was a great success. FFD attracted more than 1,000 visitors from over 55 countries. Enthusiastically, the founding manufacturers are now announcing the second edition. It will take place from May 22 to 25, 2023. It will be even larger with more companies from the Flemish region. Visitors will discover the best that Flanders has to offer to the global carpet and flooring industry. And 2024? That edition, too, is already taking shape. And it is again more ambitious. The event is opening up to companies from outside Flanders.

"This event feels like an invitation to a friend's home instead of a restaurant," said Ruben Desmet, CEO of Unilin Flooring and one of the founding partners. The first edition of FFD welcomed visitors to the showrooms of the 10 largest Flemish flooring suppliers. The initiative came from 7 Flemish leading companies in the sector. 

For the 2023 edition, Flanders Flooring Days welcomes new players. 12 leading Flemish flooring manufacturers treat visitors to visits in their flagship showrooms and factories. Visitors will discover them within a radius of less than 25 kilometers, in the heart of easily accessible Flanders. The result? A highly time-efficient visit for those who want to stay abreast of industry trends. Associated Weavers, Beauflor, Belysse, Berry Alloc, Betap, Condor Group, COREtec Floors, Lano, McThree, Osta Carpets, Real Orotex and Unilin are opening their doors to visitors from all over the world. 

A traditional trade show only shows you a selection of what each manufacturer has. Here, visitors get to see everything from each participating company. Or as one visitor put it, "So inspiring. As a customer, I got the unique opportunity to see the complete assortment of different manufacturers." The founders of this prestigious event give visitors the closest and most complete insider's view they can get. Visitors ask their questions directly to the people behind the companies. They also have plenty of opportunity to talk with the exclusive group of wholesalers and retailers who attend the event just like them. Factory tours top it all off. 

These leading manufacturers in the carpet and flooring industry are eager to invite their customers back to their "homes". And the customers are also eager to visit again. The second edition adds even more opportunities to discover, meet and learn. The whole thing is finished off with a delicious sauce of Flemish culinary and cultural traditions: Flemish hospitality at its best, again in 2023. 

The founding fathers are showing their true innovative spirit. They are making 2024 even more inclusive and exciting. Because in 2024, FFD also welcomes other European players. They can show themselves to the visiting wholesalers and retailers. Flanders is small in terms of surface area, but big enough to open up to the flooring world.
