Showroom AutoXL, Leiden: Sufficient fresh air thanks to electric window openers

More and more building owners are discovering the advantages of electric window openers, which make it easy to open large and heavy windows (at height). The window openers allow fresh, fresh air to flow far into the building, ensuring a healthy and pleasant working, learning and living environment. 

Teleflex BV has been at home in window openers for more than 70 years. The company from Gelderland advises, supplies and assembles a wide range of mechanical and electrical window openers for opening windows, tilt and turn windows, skylights and domes. From (double) chain openers and linear openers to rack openers. 

"Following in the footsteps of the IJsselstein Library, the gymnasium of the ROC in Tilburg and an elementary school in Scherpenzeel, we recently equipped the reveal windows of AutoXL's showroom in Leiden with electric window openers," says Jesse Verheem, Operational Manager at Teleflex BV. "The building already contained window openers, which we replaced with a modern and easy-to-use alternative. To select the right product for this project, we first did a hot take."

Because of the height and large dimensions of the pop-out windows, Teleflex BV's ACK4 S (Synchronous) electric chain openers were chosen. "We supplied a total of 26 chain openers," Verheem explains. "There are two chain openers mounted per top-hung window, which are controlled synchronously." Thanks to the ACK4 S electric chain openers, the windows can be opened at various positions, he says. "Chain layers can be easily adjusted from 10 to 40 cm and in stages of 5 cm, thanks to an external knob on both sides of the opener."

If desired, various sensors can be linked to the window openers, such as a rain and wind sensor. In addition, operation via an app is possible. In AutoXL's showroom, the chain openers are connected to the controls already in place.
