Three booths, one story at Light + Building 2026

Linking lighting, security and smart building central

Anyone who visited Light + Building 2026 from March 8 to 13 could not ignore it. The GEWISS Group is fully committed to the combination of lighting, safety and building technology. With three different stands, the group showed how the brands GEWISS, Performance iN Lighting, Beghelli, TVILIGHT and Thinknx complement each other in projects for utilities, industry and public spaces. “We want the market to experience that we don't just supply products, but can support complete solutions,” said Saad Jabri, marketing manager at Performance iN Lighting | Powered by GEWISS.

The joint presentation underscored the group's more emphatic course in Europe: installation technology, energy management, smart building and professional lighting are no longer positioned as separate disciplines, but as components of a single total solution. For installers, consultants and architects, this means, in practice, a broader offer, with more coherence between design, implementation and management.

Three stands, one shared vision

The exhibition participation took shape through three separate booths, each with its own focus. In Hall 12, GEWISS presented its core portfolio for electrical installations, security, energy management, automation and e-mobility. Here the emphasis was on solutions for reliable infrastructures in residential, commercial and industrial environments, complemented by charging solutions for electric mobility.

In Hall 11.1, Thinknx showed how building management and automation can be integrated within a single platform. The solutions focus on the central management of building functions and technical installations, with attention to integration and monitoring. In doing so, the group emphatically positions smart building as the connecting layer between installation technology and the daily use of buildings.

The third booth, in Hall 3.1, was entirely focused on lighting. Here the Performance iN Lighting, Beghelli and TVILIGHT brands came together. The joint presentation showed how lighting plays a strategic role within the group's broader offering. Beghelli brought expertise in emergency lighting and security, while TVILIGHT focuses on smart systems for outdoor lighting and monitoring in public spaces. “We showed visitors how these disciplines reinforce each other,” Jabri said. “After all, lighting does not stand alone, but is directly related to safety, management and energy efficiency.”

Lighting as a route through applications

The collaborative lighting booth was set up as an experiential route. Visitors walked through different spaces, including an office environment, sports area, industrial setting and a Japanese garden. Each space featured a different application, linked to themes such as visual comfort, human centric lighting, energy efficiency and reliability.

According to Jabri, the setup was intentionally hands-on. “We wanted to show what lighting does in a space. By physically experiencing those applications, it becomes clearer how light contributes to comfort, safety and orientation.”

Time savings in the installation market

In addition to lighting and smart building, GEWISS is also working on solutions that can save installers time in practice. One example is the cooperation around group boxes, for which the company has entered into a partnership with manufacturer F-tronic. GEWISS supplies various configurations of fully wired cabinets that can be quickly expanded by the installer. “For installers, the gain is mainly in time,” says Jabri. “We can also configure group boxes custom-made, reducing the amount of work required on site. There are 41 standard versions available, but we can also provide project-specific customization.”

This approach meets the need for more efficient execution in the construction and installation sector, where tighter schedules and limited capacity are increasingly decisive. By partially shifting preparation and assembly to the supplier, on-site installation work is faster and more predictable.

GEWISS Netherlands now operates as one organization in which several brands from the group have been brought together. This positions the organization more emphatically as a partner for projects in which installation technology, lighting and building management come together, with a single point of contact and a broader portfolio.
