The dynamic and fast-growing lighting company Unlumited Lighting has focused intensively on growth and expansion in recent months. Participation in Architect@Work was a strategic move to present the latest innovations in contour lighting. "We are leading the way worldwide and are proud that we could now officially introduce these innovations at Architect@Work," says Senior Product Manager Henk Schaap.
Despite the traditionally quiet summer period, Unlumited has been working hard in recent months to expand its offerings. Not only has the company significantly expanded its product catalog, it has also established new collaborations with several European lighting brands and distribution channels. According to Schaap, Unlumited's current focus is on intensifying these collaborations, including with Clear Lighting, a leading manufacturer of contour lighting. "Architect@Work is all about innovations of interest to architects and engineering firms. That's why we specifically focused on our contour lighting for outdoors here."
At the show, Unlumited introduced the new Free Band series, which consists of three innovative products: Panoray, Swaylux, and Arcflex. "These patented products are one of a kind because of their flexibility and robustness," Schaap explained. "Panoray is a wallwasher fixture made entirely of silicone, allowing it to be easily bent and adapted to the contours of walls or pillars. Swaylux is designed to be recessed into the ground and is made of stainless steel, which makes it not only flexible, but also drivable."
Arcflex, the third member of the Free Band family, is distinguished by its ability to bend in three directions, making it extremely versatile for a variety of applications. Of all these products, Unlumited can provide an EPD (Environmental Product Declaration). "We also offer an extended warranty period of 10 years, because we are convinced of the longevity of our products. This is where we are unique."
The robustness of these luminaires, combined with their flexibility, makes the Free Band series products ideal for long-term use in various outdoor environments, according to Schaap. "It is possible to easily replace the lighting technology without removing the entire luminaire. This makes the products extra user-friendly and durable."
